The MMS Jazz Ensemble scored a "superior" rating at the California Association for Music Education (CMEA) Jazz Festival held at Santa Teresa High School this past Friday, February 3, 2017.

Registration for the 2017/2018 school year begins Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Requests to transfer to a school outside of your neighborhood school (Intra-District Transfer Request) is accepted only through the month of March. Late forms for Transfer Requests will not be accepted.

Two Moreland Middle School Students have auditioned and been selected to be musicians in exclusive music performances.

In lieu of a Holiday Party, Country Lane 5th Graders spent their time assembling kits for patients of Lucille Packard Children's Hospital - Stanford, and homeless and at-risk youth in Silicon Valley.

Celebrating the 3 year anniversary of the Hour of Code teacher-led movement, students from five Moreland schools participated in an hour (or more) of coding in December.

Moreland Middle School's 7th Grade Girls Basketball Team won the West Valley Athletic League Championship against Ida Price Middle School.

Country Lane 4th Grader, Pranav, was recently named the 4th Grade California State CHess Champion after placing first in the California State Championship for his grade level.

MiM received a grant through the Classics for Kids Foundation that will provide Moreland's award-winning orchestras with half the cost toward four high-quality violins and violas. Currently, Moreland has approximately 1000 students in the 4th - 8th grade music program.
