Latimer 4th graders launched a Sock Drive for Southern California fire victims. They collected more than 2,000 pairs of socks and were featured on NBC Bay Area.

Moreland School District Nurse Tanja Batinic received the Excellence in School Nursing Award for the Bay Area from the California School Nurses Organization.
