Moreland Partners with West Valley Community Services to Provide Mobile Food Pantry  to Families


San Jose, January 11, 2018:  The Moreland School District is partnering with West Valley Community Services to bring a mobile Food Pantry to the Moreland Community on Tuesday January 16 and January 30, 2018.


The mobile pantry was launched to help alleviate the obstacles people faced in traveling to West Valley Community Services’ headquarters in Cupertino.  The mobile pantry will be stocked with a variety of east-to-fix foods, such as ramen noodles, pop top canned soups, and macaroni and cheese.  Items such as granola bars, chips, bread, peanut butter, fresh fruit, and toiletries will also be available.


In addition, the community can get assistance with financial and housing case management, bus passes, public benefits, and West Valley Community Services special programs.


The mobile pantry will be in the Moreland Community Center parking lot (4711 Campbell Avenue) from 1pm - 4pm on January 16 and January 30, 2018.  For more information, please see the attached flyer.
