KTVU Names Moreland Woods among “Haunted House Experiences You Don’t Want to Miss”

Moreland Education Foundation and Grimm’s Hollow Haunted Trail highlighted for offering 

Halloween fun for people of all ages.

San Jose, CA, October 17, 2023 -  Every October, the Moreland Woods area is turned into a festive Pumpkin Patch and Haunted Trail for the Moreland Education Foundation’s annual fundraiser. This fall, KTVU Channel 2 News named the Halloween-themed event among the “7 Bay Area haunted house experiences you don’t want to miss.” In the article, the Moreland Woods is applauded for offering “a little something for everyone” with options that can be either family-friendly or for mature audiences.

The MEF Pumpkin Patch is open every weekend in October and runs through Halloween. MEF partners with Grimm’s Hollow to host the thrilling and interactive Haunted Trail in the Moreland Woods located at 4835 Doyle Road in San Jose. Check out the full calendar of events here.

The Pumpkin Patch is a volunteer fundraiser for the Moreland Education Foundation. Every dollar raised directly benefits Moreland students.

Entrance to the Pumpkin Patch is free for everyone.

HAUNTED TRAIL

• Please Note:
  Tickets are only sold in person on the day of the event 1 hour before the trail opening.
  MEF does not presell tickets.
• Ticket Prices: $15.00 each or $13.50 each for a group of 4-6 people
• Ticket Purchase Limit: A maximum of 6 tickets can be sold per family.
• Age Limit: Admission for children aged 2 and below will be complimentary.
  Kids are welcome to the scary trail with an adult.
• Limited Ticket Sales: To maintain fairness for everyone, tickets for the Grimm’s Hollow Haunted Family Friendly Trail will go on sale at 6PM, while tickets for the Scary Trail will be available from 8PM
