San Jose, September 18, 2019:  Easterbrook Discovery School (EDS) has been named the 10th highest fundraising school in the country for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s ® Pennies for Patients ® program.  Announced as the #1 fundraising school in the Silicon Valley and Monterey Bay Area region for the third year in a row, EDS has raised over $140,000 to date.

Over 23,000 schools participate in the Pennies for Patients program across the nation annually, including 268 in the immediate Silicon Valley/Monterey Bay area.  The Moreland School District is incredibly proud to have several schools within the District participate in the Pennies for Patients program every year. Congratulations to EDS and all schools fundraising for this important organization.
